1.
Pass my time Watching drowning memories What I see is a beautiful blue Come to me I’ll give you another eyes So you can watch me swim Everyday of winter These waters seem a murder Kill you with an endless cold Every fucking day These waters seem a murder Kill you with an endless cold REFRAIN Embrace the sea Embrace these waters Leave all your life Leave it to the sea Darkness, expiation Take all my sins As I rest into the deep Take all my love REFRAIN x2
2.
Maelstrom 03:53
Take a look inside One last chance to rise above Sense the fear, let it grow Staring at the Sea Everything shall fall I need this but this I fear So it starts, drag me down The hands of Maelstrom smell of freedom. Vision not so clear As I call this "paradox" Crumbling all my demons Turn 'em into purity Unforgiving strong Running through its undertow Wishing all the time I've lost The hands of Maestrom smell of freedom. Why don't you see the ground? You cannot die with one eye open Becoming blind among your own dreams Broken So I step into a new life Such perfection Forgotten memories surrounding me, Under a shattered Sky Agony, but wonderful Agony, but wonderful I found my way home
3.
Too much explanation I can’t understand you Pray for my salvation, take me away I’ve got no hands I was born to suffer Always wait for her Please leave me alone In this room the walls are bleeding REFRAIN I saw my own fear, I’m so numb Thunders in the night make me scream (x2) Bring my soul with you (x4) New day, another curse Leave all your praises, all fucking back My way a burning road My corpse to flies, my soul to you REFRAIN
4.
Endless fog next to my bed Sweetly dead vision Now I know that You’ll never go away There’s a world between us, But you can’t see it It’s hard when you stand In the middle of two lands Cry it out, out loud Childish fears Everyone of us Has a ghost beside (x2) Shadows By my side They want some pieces of me REFRAIN Scars left on my past Ghosts never say goodbye Shadows By my side They want some pieces of me (x2) Every day returns back home There is no place to hide your sins REFRAIN
5.
REFRAIN Dead bodies in open sea Horizon, horizon calls One look and I will go Horizon, horizon calls (x2) I’ll take my time to run away Give me strength to return Chasing my way like a falling star in the darkest sea Show me the light at the end Show me your sign Nothing but my last salvation: My horizon Nothing but my last salvation: My horizon Like the last time, return what’s mine Take me with you, show me the way (x2) REFRAIN Do you see the breaking point? Where the sun comes out Take me away from this land, Take me away from death (x2) REFRAIN
6.
How long will you stay here? My room is full of ghosts Your prison's six feet under You wanted everything Accepting every fucking abomination x2 Wake up from this nightmare Eternal fight between our minds Wake up from this nightmare A chant upon your graves x2 Bury your dead! Requiem!
7.
Bring me all your convictions The undertow drags your body with it Your breath is not important now Surfacing, carry yourself home BRIDGE No second chance to take me away from the foam Surfacing No second chance to live faster like this Lost in my glory, swimming to the top Lost in my glory, swimming to the top Surfacing REFRAIN I’m going back up, show me the sky I’m looking for the biggest wave Rise up I’m looking for the biggest wave (x2) It’s your time, don’t let it go Ride the wave and watch me sink Seize the day, just from above Break the chain of your worst mistake BRIDGE REFRAIN Surfacing I see the morning sun Lay down on the sand REFRAIN
8.
No one sees No one listens No more movement No more BRIDGE I choose to stay I choose to follow myself Don’t take me away I’ve got something to save (x2) REFRAIN Time slips away Away from my hands And no one knows This is a desolation (x2) And I am singing The song of desolation Memories Are just suffering BRIDGE REFRAIN

about

Italian metal band Straight to Pain's debut album, including singles "Horizon Calls" and "Maelstrom".

The sea. Endless marvel of nature, and unstoppable destructive force. Cradle of life and lair of death. A dual force calling to the depths of the human soul, a two-faced challenge parallel to that of the human life. In our endless fight to rise above, surfacing over our darkest and most hopeless days, it is our choice to fight the maelstrom of drowning or long-drown memories trying to drag us down, and strongly embrace a sea of life. One look, and I will go: Horizon Calls.
